EDR protection by CrowdStrike necessary for Android 10 phones?

by yani77311 . Updated 6 years, 2 months ago

I own a Motorola phone with Android One version 9 pre installed – now updated to Android 10

I have not “tampered” the OS in any way

I have purchased Bitdefender

I am cautious when downloading apps from Google Play

I use Chrome (it is protected by Bitdefender’s Web Protection)

Javascript is blocked and so are many other settings (in Chrome)

( If I really need Javascript for example, I have Firefox and it is also protected by Bitdefender )

Do you think this new EDR protection by CrowdStrike is necessary for keeping my phone secure* in this new era?

As technology progresses so do threats…

But I do not know much about this EDR technology for Android phones…
