Eggs in One basket

The horror of Tuesday highlights a fundamental security issue for all corporations.
Many companies lost some if not all of their foremost financial thinkers and shapers with subsequent consequence on worlds economy. What if a major IT Player had been eliminated? What if Microsoft HQ or Cisco HQ had been taken out? Think of all the knowledge and loss of support etc for every business world wide. Not just the next few days/weeks, but 1+ year down the line. Should we be proposing in projects to spread geographically key business areas?
