I have a client who uses Outlook 2003 to send/receive her email on a computer running XP.
On the 8th December she received an email from Company A with an attached Purchase Order (html file).
On the 26th December she received an email from Company B with no attachment. That email (including information such as MIME-version: 1.0 Content-type: multipart/alternative; boundare=” etc, etc) now appears when the Purchase Order html file is opened from within Company A’s email.
The html first displays the heading (Company A Purchase order #xxx and the Company A logo) but continues with the email from Company B, complete with our email that they were replying to.
Any ideas what might have caused such a strangeness?
So far as I know, there were no power surges around that time and nothing else seems to have been affected on the computer.
