Encrypted data recovery

I have read some of the articles posted on EFS , but still not able to decrypt almost the entirety of my harddisk full of vitally importany files. The files were encypted using EFS, the PC developed a glitch, the tech savvy guy, or so it seemed, removed the harddisk and installed it into another CPU, removed the password to ease access, and then hell broke loose! Nothing can done with the files, open, copy, name it, U have no privileges to access the files, Access denied, among others. It rather hot for me as one of the files doesnt belong to me and the guy needs it urgently. Any help from friends here?
