Error 0x80040707

My Brother MFC-240C stopped working and I discovered that there was a problem with the driver. When I tried reinstalling the printer software I got the following error.

Error Number 0x80040707
DLL function call crashed:BRADDPRT
Check Local Port
Setup will now terminate

I cannot get this software installed and my printer working.

I purchased RegCure that was supposed to have fixed this problem, but it hasn’t.

Please Help
