ERROR – Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

When I try to upgrade iTunes or Uninstall iTunes I get an error that I do not have permission to the following: Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

When I go to Start and run Regedit, I can locate that folder but when I click on it, I get an error. So I can not even access the folder to check the permission status.

How do I resolve this?
