HELP – new Satellite Laptop had to use since just got TurboTax which only works with Vista which is on Laptop. Unfortunately haven’t set up network printer which I use on my desktop which is connected through a wireless modem to the laptop. Desktop is running Windows 98 SE. When I tried to install network printer on Satellite Laptop it gave me msg Windows cannot connect to the printer. Operation could not be completed (error OxooooB66). I have an older Lexmark Laser Optra M412. I then went to Lexmark site and downloaded Vista drivers and installed on laptop but it still gave me same msg. NEED HELP IMMEDIATELY SO CAN DO TAXES AND GET PRINTED. I’m afraid to put vista drivers on desktop or may screw up printing on it. Don’t know which drivers I need where or why it’s not working. Even bought a new Lexmark to hook up directly to Laptop and then It was defunct and tech support is sending me new one but won’t do me any good need help immediately so everything is just going down hill no matter what I try. Is this because I have Windows 98SE on one desktop and vista on the laptop? Never owned wireless router or laptop or vista so I am way over my head in all this with little time to learn anything. Sorry if this issue has been addressed previously but don’t have time to scroll through other questions.
