Everybuddy & S.u.S.E. V7.2 Personal

I have just upgraded to SuSE V7.2 Personal and I find that if I enable the Firewall Everybuddy will not work. I can switch it off from the control center ‘modem’ and EB is fine but I am not sure if I am still protected – I have checked against test sites and still get the OK that I am ‘invisible’ can anyone advise me as to whether I can safely leave the firewalle switched off or edit the config file to allow EB to communicate please ?
