Ex military, Help?

Hello to all. I’m currently in the military (IT) and on my way out. The sooner the better. I just wanted to know if any ex-military could give a little advice on starting out in the real world. The more I look at these sites and job offerings the more afraid, yes I said afraid, of leaving. Is it the difference in Lingo or what? I really, really want out of this military job field, but really having a hard time. Anyone experiencing the same or with advice to help would be highly appreciated. Thanks
