Excel Dependent Page Filters

Does any one know how to setup the Page/Report Filter in an Excel pivot table to be dependent on another Report/Page Filter?

I have heard it can not be done but then others say creating drop down boxes, making them dependent and then linking that to the Page Filter will work but I have no clue how to make the drop down box/combo box/list box dependent on another and then link to the Report/Page Filter.

I am using Excel 2007 but if there is a solution in another version that is fine.

Anyone have any ideas on how to do this, I have been googling for a few days now and have come up with nothing that seems to work.
