Excel hyperlinks

by graham.scrase . Updated 18 years, 2 months ago

I have added the MS calculator into an excel worksheet to enable calculations outside the scope of the worksheet to be made – e.g. unit conversion, odd trig calcs, Pythagoras, etc. The hyperlink works but each time I activate the hyperlink I get the Excel message telling me that some programs can ham up my computer and do I want to continue. When this is answered “Yes” I get the same message from MS Office. Since I am using a MS program to call up another MS program, I don’t see the need for this level of protection. How can I activate the hyperlink without having to answer all the “are you sure” questions first – i.e can the automatic messages be disabled for this workbook only?
