EXCHANGE

I need some help to configure the exchange server 2000.
My proble si that already have a internal dns server with a domain mycompany.com and i have allready register the domain holding.com.cr in the internet.
How i configure the DNS server for this new domain that i will use in the exchange? i know that i have to make a MX record but what a i have to first to add this record?
