Exchange 2000 SMTP Configuration

I am setting up Exchange 2k on a private network that is behind a PIX firewall to internet. I have enabled port 25 and maped a private to public IP address to exchange server. I want to configure SMTP and need to know what the quick and dirty setup is for Exchange 2K sp2 on Win2k AD to get this feature up and running.
