exchange 2003 offline defragmentation

by curacao_dejavu . Updated 17 years, 2 months ago

In the past I was using the offline defragmentation of exchange 2003. It was going fine.
About a year ago I had to archive 2 mailboxes , and the problem was I did not put attention to the harddisk space left, the harddisk ran full during the archiving process. Since then I can not use the offline defragmentation, the process stops amd usually with a message …… network timeout (I was using a netwerk drive at that that).
I have added a new psysical drive now to the system. so I am ready to try again. but since the issue started with after the harddisks became full, I have a feeling that the indexes etc might be corrupted. Is there a way to have some kind of logging that can be created during the isinteg process (so I now where/which mailbox is creating the problem) or do I have to run the eseutil program (and with which parameters). (and logging option hopefully).
what’s the order on how to proceed in these cases ?
