Exchange 2007 storage group space issue

Good afternoon, one of our storage groups is running out of disk space. I have moved in the console 20GIG worth of users, successfully, to another storage group-however, even though I can see the users are now in a different storage group, the disk space in the originating storage group remains the same-is there something else I have to do, please help!
