Exchange 5.5 Admin Program Install

How do I install the exchange 5.5 administrator program on a seperate server so that I am not creating a seperate email server just able to maintain the current one from a different workstation. Basically our backup server. It needs the exchange administrator program on it to do the backups. Thanks
