Exchange 5.5 recovery

I have an exchange 5.5 server that had the exchange files accidently moved and some log files etc deleted. I have backups of the priv and pub files but I cannot figure how to inport them or make them work on a new exchange install. I get errors from 1105 to 530. Any suggestions?
