Exchange / Outlook Distribution Issue

I have a couple users that have different distribution list and are now getting a message that says it is too large.

They really do not want to break the list out, and from what I have seen you can only have certain file size on exchange / outlook for the distribution list.

Any ideas on either 3rd party software that would work with exchange / outlook for very large mailing list or how to handle these list.
