Explorer 7 missing menu bar favorites in wrong position

I did a system restore tonight because IE 8 kept crashing, and I wanted to return to IE 7. Unfortunately, I now have no tool bar, no sidebar of favorites and other options — the whole thing is messed up! Help, please! Joan
