This is on a Laptop system running Windows 2K. It seems when the CDROM is inserted into the laptop, Explorer takes a very long time to load. ( No cdrom in the tray ) however, If the Floppy drive is in the bay, there is no issue. ( Floppy and CDROM swap into same bay on laptop ) Makes no difference when booting and cdrom is already in the bay. Happens with ANY browse function.
