file conversion

Dear All,

I have installed Ghostscript 6.52 and ImageMagick on Solaris 8 (SPARC machine), with ‘convert’ utility i have converted one 10 pages postscript file to GIF it took 36 sec. i feel it is very slow

because on windows machine with Active pdf utility 1 DOC file of 10 pages will get converted to GIF in 8 sec.

Can any body give me the Solution for Solaris for postscript to GIf conversion ?
