File sharing over wireless router

Hi,

I just got a new wireless router and i would like to configure file sharing between my laptop (wireless to router) and my desktop (wired to router).

I have changed the workgroup name to a common one and also enabled filesharing.

I was also able to ping my laptop using my desktop when i turn off the Zonealarm firewall on my laptop, but i still cant see my laptop on my desktop and vice versa.

Is there a way I can share files without turning off my firewall?
