Find root cause of deployed software bug

We’re having a terrible problem with our web app in that it is hanging and we can’t figure out why. This is a large app with both proprietary and custom code, running on load-balanced NT servers. Anyone know any tools that can hellp us find the root cause?

p.s. this only happens on our production system, we can’t reproduce it in the lab.
