Finding a job

The world of job seeking has changed radically during the past decade, mostly due to the Net. I’m a Tech Republic writer doing a story on the ways of finding a job that may not have existed when some TR members were last unemployed. Is it feasible to limit the search to traditional cover letters and resumes? In what way can the Web best be used? What are the best sites for IT? Do you bid on jobs?
