Flash crash fix

Its been over a week since the latest release and there is still no fix for the flash crashing bug in Firefox that affects window Vista and windows 7 users .
Since downloading the update for Flash & Firefox it is not working . I have had to uninstal Firefox and resort to Explorer .
Any sugestion would be appreciated .
I get a message See Visual C++ documentationon on assert. Assertion faild program file common\pnp_gate.cpp
the app JIT must be enabled
Press debug the app.
Not being a programmer I have no idea what it all means HELP!!!!!
