FLEXLM on IRIX

I have a machine trying to run 2 different versions of FLEXLM. I obviously only want 1 to be running. Actually I think one is not running in that ther are constant errors about 2 copies of lmgrd trying to run. is there an easy way to stop the older version from runnig but still maintain the licenses for all the prorgams that are licensed? The major concern would be with Softimage.
