I am a 21 years old fresh grad, whom actively seeking for a “IT-Related” job/career. I have Bsc(HONS)in Computing, grade : second class upper. My situation,as the topic mentioned, is rather hard for me go for the position i wish to go into…I wish to have go for some position which have involvement in entire system development life cycle…so that i can gain more from the work..i perhaps can go for higher level, when reached/accumulate certain years of exp.However in my country, MALAYSIA, companies are more conservative, ppl from local University grad at age of 24-25, that’s what companies think is “mature” enough for work…My problem is how i going to convince companies to hire me…take me for the position as describe above (some even will reject right after they saw i am born at 1918…). Should i go into support role for several year before i return to the IT industry ?or perhaps when the economy getting better one day…please guide.
