Hi.
I have wu-ftp, and it works on my small lan. It is setup to use ftp as the guest account with a password of the email address or something with the @ symbol.
1) When I logon using a regular user name and password, I have complete access to my whole directory. Can I limit the normal user like the guest account (ftp) and somehow drop that person in the ftp home directory structure?
2)I have my failed logon set to 5. When I try to logon and mistype a user or password, it doesnt go thru, butI still get the ftp prompt back just waiting for input. Now, it wont except any command to login, so I close the session with (close) and reopen it with (open) to start another session. When I type right I go in. So if I mistype, how do I use the command prompt (ftp) rightly so as to continue to login rightly?
Thanks……………………Pat
