Problem:
“Full Control” user can’t view most web parts & data views on a SP-Designer created page.
User experience:
Pg 1: Custom page displays. Two Sharepoint webparts successfully shown (one is document library, the other is custom list). Error displaying webpart for standard ‘Announcements’ list. Error message says: “Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource.”
Pg 2: Custom page displays. One webpart (Announcements) fails with the same access denied error. And, a custom data view created in Designer also fails with same error.
Pg 3: This page does not display at all, instead redirected to standard “Error: Access Denied” Sharepoint page.
Don’t understand why new user can not see the web parts and custom data views when they appear to have identical ‘full control’ rights to site.
