FUTURE OF JAVA : As DOT NET is coming

The question always arises in my mind about JAVA future. Will Java last as DotNet is coming in the market? though I am not a supporter of Java. But since I am hearing only about Java It made me think about learning Java. In which areas DotNet will take lead against Java? and Brief on DOT net.
