Situation:
W2k,D-Link NIC (DFE530tx rev.b1).All network settings are correct(subnet mask, ip-adress, gateway).All tested manuel configured and also with DHCP. Full access to the network, everythings seems to be ok, but i can`t ping the router. All other PC`s in the network could.
Then i changed the NIC (DFE530tx rev.a1).Now everything is ok and i thought the NIC caused the problem…
…Same day, same problem: Win98SE, 3c509b. I configured the network-configuration for the PC at the end ofoktober and everything was ok (internet…)and noone has used the PC since that day. Yesterday i should configure Outlook for a new member in our company, but Outlook couldn`t find server…ping to gateway -> timeout…!
Same situation: full accessto the network, everything like the first situation with W2k.
Could anyone help me?
