Getting Macs on a Novell Network

We’re running a Novell Netware 5 network, with an NT Exchange box for email and Oracle databases. Because I’m the only person in the department that works with Macs, I’ve been put in charge of getting our 2 new G4s on the network of 300 PCs.
Let mestate now that altough I know a little about networking in general (Network+ level), I’m not a network admin. My boss thinks putting SoftWindows 98 on the Macs, then running Netware Client 3.3 (just like we do with the Windows PC) will work.
Can I get some input? (and please, no “just get rid of the Macs” comments. They’re our Graphics department, and if we got rid of the Macs, we’d have no Graphics department left…)
