Getting Paid

Since the tech wreck, I’ve heard from a few independents I know having problems collecting on work they’ve done.

Personally, I’ve done between 15 and 20 DSL installs an bughunts for Endeavor Telecomm, and been waiting since June for my invoice to clear.

Their accounts payable department doesn’t return calls. I’m not worried about legal problems posting here, because I’ve got proof of everything, including the signed work orders from all sites I’ve visited.

Endeavor seemed legit, as they have a decent amount of infrastructure behind them, but I’m wondering if companies are taking advantage of the job situation to get free labor. I’m talking less than $1000.00 here.

Any Input? Is this a trend or an abberation?
