Gigabit Lan Ethernet vs. 10/100 Ethernet

My current network is setup as 10/100 Ethernet connections from branch to main location. I am in the process of setting up another branch and the pc’s I am looking at are Gigabit Lan Ethernet. Would I have a compatibity issue with the current network? If not would a 10/100 hub still work?
