GPO Customization on AD

Hi,I am having a new Windows 2003 AD. And would like to change the GPO to suite our environment.

There might be a lot of changes on the GPO. What we hope is to keep the existing (standard) GPO as default setting, and apply the customized one superceeded the default GPO.

Does AD can allow to do so ?
