I have an older PC. Pentium 4 1.5,1GB rd ram.
had a puny 32mb graphics card(agp) installed. Bought an Nvidia Geforce 5500 256mb(agp). had same problem with previous card but it actually got worse with new card…unplayable now, annoying before. I have tried every different mouse type ps\2, usb, wireless, wired, different ports, makes no difference. It only occurs in games where there is a cursor present. Diablo 2, World of Goo, etc. Doesn’t occur in other 3d games Quake 3. 3dbenchmark 2000 scored 1659 while moving mouse, 5998 not touching the mouse. I’m confused. I have a VERY similar system, Same processor, mobo, amount of ram Not rd though bought the same Graphics card for that and everything runs FLAWLESS!!! Swapped cards to see if it was the one card, its not. Tried different drivers, running most up to date now. any help would be huge!
