Group Policy

I have been testing and playing with group policy in my Domain. (W2K) I created a warning policy and applied it to an OU. I have since disabled the policy and deleted it. However, the machines that I had the policy apply to still act as if the policy is alive and well. How do I find and disable the policy on the client side? Anyone know?
