Guardian Edge Encrption Software

Hi,

Thinking of installing Guardian Edge Harddisk encryption has anyone installed this Software before.
If so can they explain how they did it and the basic concepts of it.
The installation guide is over 150 pages long.I have looked at the install guide and also the FAQ list online but they haven’t answered some of the question i need cleared up.
