Hard Drive Problem

Hard Drive Problem
Ihave 2 computers and I’m having problems with both of them. My second computer works fine with my Maxtor ATA hard drive but when I remove it and try ti install a new SATA Hard Drive I get a scrambled message when I try to install windows xp. I get the following message on a blue screen: ****stop.0x0000008e.c0xf0000005,0xf99c7cob,0xf95d0800,0x00000000)setup.sys-address f99c 7cob base@f999e000, date stamp 3b7d8507. I was told that I need to copy a text file. How do I copy the text file? Is this text file on my windows xp disk?
