Hedge Fund

I’m considering applying for a job at a Hedge Fund. I was the IT department head at a small pharma company and now a small company. I’ve done multiple build outs and have implemented the latest technolgy such as SAN storage, Unified IP messaging and Converged AV systems. I’ve also done some compliance work for pharma companies. Besides the usual Enterprise Applications (email, sharepoint, HR, etc), what applications and systems would be necessary in a Hedge Fund environment? Is there any unknowns based on my experience stated here?
