HELP – computer shuts down every time i put blank dvd/cd in it!

hey if anyone could help id really appreciate it
this is happening on both my computers, with more than one brand of dvd/cd so i dont know whats the problem!
im using a pc, and every time i put in a blank cd/dvd the computer restarts – and then says its had a serious driver error. but i dont know how to fix it
