Help Desk Staff Ratio

I need to find a proposed Help Desk Staff ratio or benchmark to measure if our current staff is over or under dimentionated. Actually we support 5000 posible internal customers, about 1200 service request are created monthly (average), our current staff is 6 operators and one supervisor. We only support internal IT related calls.
