Help File Upload

Hi friends,
I am trying to upload a file on drag and drop as we see in WINDOWS(tree structure of system folder).I found one script using Java Applet,it is possible to show all the system files in tree view but not with any other scripting languages.So if anybody knows any new techniques other than Java Applet kindly please help me to work out.I’m using PHP scripting language using this we can show only the folder inside the web directory(PHP installed folder) there is no way I found to show the files of system in folder (or) tree view.
