HELP HELP HELP Windows 2000 Pro….missing kernel….repair option?

My T21 IBM thinkpad came with two recovery CDS only neither provides a “Repair” option only a Reinstallation of OS.

My problem is this:

missing or corrupt system32\ntroskrl.exe

Do I simply find someone with a Windows 2000 Pro software CD, or is/are there Repair utilities available anywhere else?

*I do not have a floppy drive ….only have DVD-ROM drive.
