help me figure out what I do

My current Postition is Process Supervisor in a large production facility.

I am in the process of updating my resume and trying to figure out if there is an actual position for this activity I do.

I help in the design of equipment automationby providing the programmers with accurate data on how the machine should function fully automated. I provide flow charts and points where counts should be verified and things of that nature. In the Automation world, is there any such title?
