HELP PLEASE – I dont know if i have a virus or what but when im connected to the net via my Lan (high-speed cable) I loose my Internet Explorer connection after 5 minutes…. after 5 minutes IE displays a blank page, and even if I reset the web setting, or refresh it keeps saying ‘detecting proxy settings’ but does nothing. So I have to unplug the modem, restart the PC and same thing, 5 minutes only….
BUT here’s the wierd thing, my ‘connection’ is always active, ie, im still connected…
I’ve disabled my firewall, downloaded all the anti virus updates, adware, etc…
I’m about to throw my PC out the window!!! HELP!
