help with entering information into excel

hi can anyone help me with this i am a compleat novice
i would like to enter a parts list into excel 2007 so that when i enter a width and height it will give a list of parts needed for that job .
the list of parts are window hardware items
hinges handles etc etc but cover a range of sizes ie 320mm-601mm 601mm-901mm this would also change other parts as the size gets bigger or smaller
