Home Network

Hi
I set up a home network consisting of two computer running win98 SE and using a crossover twisted pair cable. All went well except that it will only work if both computers are on. If I try to boot one machine and the other is turned off, then the machine I am trying to boot keeps resetting itself, ie. it gets to the windows icon sceen then reboots.

I set up both c:\ so that they are shared and shared the printer on the main machine.

I also set up Internet Connection Sharing the MODEM placed on the main machine.

Any tips on how to solve this rebooting problem would be very welcome.
