How do I configure 2 NICs one for DSL and the other for IP/VPN.

Recently our office blocked access of our email through DSL because they have implement IP/VPN. One solution that I have in mind is to add another NIC. I dunno if what I have in mind is right or wrong. What is important is I should be able to access the internet and should also be able to access my email through IP/VPN. Thank you.
