How do I dual-boot: Windows XP, Linux.

I’m looking for resources for dual-booting Windows XP and Linux on a single hard drive (it’s a laptop, so a second drive isn’t an option) and know that XP will only boot off a GPT partition… is there a bootloader for Linux that will work off of this partitioning type, or any other information that will aid me in doing this?
